Dale Earnhardt Jr. leads the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup standings, though he has yet to win a race this season. It’s consistency that’s earned him the points lead -- he finished in the top ten in each of the first five races of the season, including three top-five finishes. Only Brad Keselowski, who is second in the standings, has more top-five finishes.

A string of top-ten finishes has Earnhardt Jr. on top of the Sprint Cup standings.


Jimmie Johnson, Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle round out the top five. Johnson and Edwards both have wins this year, as do Kyle Busch, Kasey Kahne and Matt Kenseth. Kenseth is the only one of those five currently outside the top ten in the point standings.
