The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is set to continue on Sunday afternoon with the Quicken Loans 400 at Michigan International Speedway. Carl Edwards earned the pole position in the Quicken Loans 400 with just 12 races remaining until the Chase for the Cup begins.

Carl Edwards will lead the field to the green flag on Sunday in the Quicken Loans 400.

The driver of the No. 99 car will lead the field to the green flag on Sunday after earning the top spot in qualifying on Friday. Edwards finished one-tenth of a second ahead of Kurt Busch, who will start on the outside of the first row.

Coverage of Sunday’s race at Michigan will begin at 1 p.m. ET on TNT. The green flag is expected to fly at 1:16. Earnhardt Jr. was the winner of the 2012 Quicken Loans 400, but hasn’t earned a win since.
