This week’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race will be a little different than usual, as drivers will battle it out on the road course at Sonoma Raceway. As it has been for the last six years, TNT will be home for television coverage of Sunday’s race.
NASCAR Sonoma 2013: Start time, TV schedule for Toyota/Save Mart 350
The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Sonoma on Sunday. Here’s the TV schedule, start time and everything you need to know to watch the race.

While the green flag isn’t scheduled until 3:19 p.m. ET, TNT’s coverage will begin at 2 p.m. The pre-race show will last for an hour, with race coverage beginning at 3 p.m. For the fourth year in a row, Adam Alexander will handle the lap-by-lap coverage with Wally Dallenbach Jr. and Kyle Petty providing color commentary. Radio coverage will also be available on Performance Racing Network, beginning at 2 p.m.
Jamie McMurray will begin Sunday’s race in front after edging out Marcos Ambrose for the pole. It was the second time McMurray took the Toyota/Save Mart 350 pole, as he also won in 2007. That race didn’t end well for McMurray — he was passed for the lead with eight laps to go before he ran out of gas with three laps remaining and ultimately finished 37th.
Weather could be a factor during Sunday’s race, as meteorologist Brian Neudorff’s forecast includes a slight chance of showers throughout the race. While rain could hit, Neudorff predicts the race will be completed. Here’s a full look at Sunday’s TV schedule.
