NASCAR standings 2013: Jimmie Johnson, Clint Bowyer in top spots

Jimmie Johnson pulled away from the field atop the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup standings with yet another top-ten finish over the weekend.

Jimmie Johnson continues to pull away from the field atop the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup standings. He finished sixth in the Camping World RV Sales 301 in New Hampshire on Sunday to gain another seven points over second place (and 13th-place finisher Sunday) Clint Bowyer.

In fact, among this week’s Top 10, only Brad Keselowski (fourth place in New Hampshire) and Kyle Busch (second place) made up any ground on Johnson. Both men still have a long way to go in the standings, however, though Keselowski should be pleased with jumping four spots up the leaderboard.

Kasey Kahne also made a strong move, jumping two spots up to No. 10 overall with an 11th-place finish over the weekend. Tony Stewart and Kurt Busch dropped out of the top ten after finishing 26th and 31st, respectively.

You can head over to NASCAR.com for the full standings. Here’s the current top ten in the Sprint Cup points standings.

1) Jimmie Johnson
2) Clint Bowyer -56
3) Carl Edwards -73
4) Kevin Harvick -74
5) Dale Earnhardt, Jr. -118
6) Matt Kenseth -120
7) Kyle Busch -120
8) Greg Biffle -151
9) Brad Keselowski -167
10) Kasey Kahne -173
