Preston Peltier won Saturday’s Southern Super Series World Crown 300 at Gresham Motorsports Park. He held off Bubba Pollard over the final 50 laps in a frantic battle in lap traffic to complete a top-five that also included TJ Reaid, Chase Elliott and Austin Theriault.

A mid-race battle between Pollard and a dominant Augie Grill was halted when Super Series officials discovered an oil leak beneath Grill’s 112. He would have to pit to get it plugged and restarted in the back of the field, leading an accident that changed the handling of his car.
