NASCAR Pocono 2013 schedule: Complete weekend coverage

Jimmie Johnson already has one victory at the Pocono Raceway this season. Can he make it two in a row? Here’s the complete schedule for the weekend.

USA TODAY Sports

The 21st race in the Sprint Cup series is set for this weekend at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pa. The GoBowling.com 400 begins on Sunday as Jimmie Johnson hopes to expand his lead in the point standings.

Johnson won the last time NASCAR came to Pocono this year, taking the Party In The Poconos 400 on June 9. He has five victories in the Sprint Cup this year and has held the points lead for all but two weeks. Clint Bowyer sits only 75 points behind him despite not having a victory yet. Matt Kenseth has just as many victories as Johnson on the season, but he is currently in sixth place, 125 points behind.

As usual, ESPN will cover the main event on Sunday, with coverage beginning at noon (ET). The practice and qualifying rounds will be broadcast on SPEED Friday and Saturday. Here’s the complete Sprint Cup schedule for the weekend.
