JEFFERSON, Ga. -- One of the so-called Grand Slam of Super Late Model racing events, the World Crown 300 has attracted some of the best stock car drivers to the high-banked Gresham Motorsports Park for over 30 years.

The Crown was originally slated to run on July 4 but a rainout postponed the event to this Saturday, Aug. 10.
In collaboration with Raceweek Illustrated Garage Talk, host Brandon Reed and SB Nation’s Matt Weaver produced a quick preview of the event on Thursday afternoon, live from the half-mile speedway in Jefferson, Ga.
In the video, the two short track enthusiasts recap the Southern Super Series season thus far and give preview and predictions for the 300-lap classic.
