2013 NASCAR points standings: Jimmie Johnson holds onto lead

Kyle Busch took the checkered flag on Sunday night, but Jimmie Johnson still holds onto the NASCAR Sprint Cup points lead. Here’s the top 10 standings.

With one race to go before the Chase for the Sprint Cup begins, Jimmie Johnson has maintained his lead in the NASCAR points standings. Johnson’s 837 points put him 28 points ahead of second place Clint Bowyer.

Kyle Busch jumped up into fifth place in the standings after winning Sunday’s Advocare 500, securing his berth in the Chase in the process.
