The Southern Super Series continues this weekend with two of the final three events on the inaugural season schedule. First is Friday night’s Buddy’s 125 at Pensacola Five Flags Speedway followed by a Saturday night battle at Mobile International Speedway in the RE Suspensions 125.
Bubba Pollard leads Daniel Hemric entering penultimate Southern Super weekend
The first Southern Super Series championship has realistically come down to two drivers -- Bubba Pollard and Daniel Hemric.


The season ends with the prestigious All-American 400 at historic Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville.
The season championship is realistically down to two combatants as Bubba Pollard leads Daniel Hemric by 38 points entering the penultimate weekend of the season. John Hunter Nemechek -- son of NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Joe -- is a distant third at 201 points back and needs to sweep the final three races to have a realistic shot.
Former All-Pro Champion Mike Garvey and Hunter Robbins complete the top-five. The standings have been provided below.
