Bubba Pollard snapped a long winless streak on Friday in the Southern Super Series event at Pensacola Five Flags Speedway. He held off Daniel Hemric on a late restart to extend his championship lead to 46 with just two races remaining in the inaugural Super Series season.

A mid-race battle between Ross Kenseth and a dominant Pollard was halted by rain at the halfway point of the race. Once the track was dried and the race resumed, Kenseth faded and Pollard was left unchallenged.
