UNOH Battle at the Beach: Start Times, TV, Radio, Live Coverage Information and More

Start time: The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event, a non-points combination race between the Northern and Southern Tours, will begin the evening with their 150 lap feature rolling off at 7 p.m. ET. Following the conclusion, at approximately 8:45 p.m., the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East 150 lap race will begin.

TV: FOX Sports 2 will broadcast the evening’s events live starting at 7 p.m. In addition, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race will re-air at 11:00 p.m.the same evening on FOX Sports 1, and the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East will re-air on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. on FOX Sports 1.

Radio and Live Streaming: There will be a live radio broadcast starting with a pre-race show at 6:45 p.m. streamed on MRN.com. The event will also be simulcast on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.

NASCARHomeTracks.com will also stream a track cam with track PA of qualifying starting at 4 p.m. on their web site.

Additional Live Coverage: Throughout the entire day and evening, NASCAR Home Tracks Race Central Live powered by Speed51.com will have live updates for those that would like to follow along on their computers or mobile devices.

Last Year: The inaugural running of the UNOH Battle at the Beach featured passes and altercations for the lead in the closing laps in each of the races. In the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race, NASCAR veteran Steve Park received pressure from Tour regular Eric Goodale and chain reaction between them sent leader Mike Stefanik for a spin. Park went on to win the race. Of those three, Goodale is the only one that has returned to Daytona for this year’s running.

In the NASCAR K&N Pro Series, contact between Gray Gaulding and Michael Self opened the door for Alberta Canada’s Cameron Hayley to dive low and take the win coming out of the final turn on the final lap. Hayley returns this year with Turner Scott Motorsports and comes off of a second place finish to Rev Racing driver Daniel Suarez at New Smyrna Speedway Sunday night.
