When it comes to sports, few are as dominant at anything as Jimmie Johnson is at Dover. While there have certainly been a few poor runs, Johnson has dominated at the Monster Mile, winning a record eight times. He’ll get an opportunity to make it nine wins on Sunday at the FedEx 400.

NASCAR heads to Dover for the FedEx 400, will Jimmie Johnson continue his dominant stretch at the one-mile track?

Johnson’s success at Dover isn’t just about his lofty win totals. He consistently runs strong and led at least 100 laps in nine of his previous 10 starts at the track. While his previous success doesn’t guarantee anything for the race on Sunday, it would be more surprising if he wasn’t a factor in the end than if he was. Johnson won’t start in front, however, that will be Brad Keselowski. Keselowski won the pole, with Kyle Busch set to start second, Joey Logano third and Johnson fourth.
Fox will provide live television coverage of the race with the pre-race show scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. ET. Mike Joy, Darrell Waltrip and Larry McRyenolds will take over live race coverage at 1 p.m., with the green flag tentatively scheduled for 1:15 p.m. Viewers looking for extended pre-race coverage can tune into FoxSports1 at 11:30 a.m.
In addition to the television coverage, viewers will be able to follow along on the radio with a live broadcast from Motor Racing Network on Sirius-XM. The radio coverage is scheduled to start at 12 p.m.
