The Chase for the Sprint Cup moves to Delaware on Sunday for the first elimination race of the 2015 NASCAR playoffs with the running of the AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway.

The 16-driver field will be trimmed down to 12 after Sunday’s race, meaning Kevin Harvick, Clint Bowyer, Kyle Busch and others near the bottom of the points standings need either a win or a strong finish Sunday to move on to the next round.

Matt Kenseth, who won last week in New Hampshire and sits atop the points leaderboard, was awarded the pole position after qualifying was washed out on Friday.

NBC Sports Network will televise the race beginning with a pre-race Countdown to Green show at 2 p.m. ET, with Krista Voda, Kyle Petty and Dale Jarrett. The full race coverage begins at 2:30 p.m. with Rick Allen calling the race alongside analysts Steve Letarte and Jeff Burton, with Marty Snider, Mike Massaro, Kelli Stavast and Dave Burns from pit row.

The race can be followed online and via mobile devices through NBC Sports Live Extra. The race will re-air on NBCSN Monday at 2:30 p.m.
