NASCAR at Charlotte Motor Speedway 2015: Lineup, starting grid for Coca-Cola 600

Randy Sartin-USA TODAY Sports

The 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup season shifts to Charlotte on Sunday for the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Matt Kenseth won the pole on Thursday with a top qualifying speed of 194.252 mph, and he’s looking for his first win in Charlotte. Kenseth has finished as a runner-up here three times in his career, more than any other active driver.

Joey Logano starts in second position. Logano has one win and six top-five finishes this season, and ranks fourth in NASCAR Sprint Cup points in 2015.

Fox analyst Larry McReynolds likes Logano’s chances for a second win this season.

“Kurt Busch, Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski or Martin Truex Jr. are the best bets to dethrone Johnson and Harvick at a mile-and-a-half track at this time. If I had to choose just one, I’d go with Logano,” McReynolds said this week. “But the one thing his team is having a tough time with right now is keeping up with the track as it changes throughout the race. They’re fast at the beginning of the race and can lead a bunch of laps, but need to be more aggressive with their adjustments as the track changes during the course of the race.”

Fox begins coverage of the race at 6 p.m. ET, with the green flag expected at approximately 6:19 p.m.
