NASCAR at Pocono Raceway 2015: Lineup, starting grid for Axalta ‘We Paint Winners’ 400

Here’s the full lineup for the Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400. Kurt Busch has the pole.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will be at the Pocono Raceway for the Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400 on Sunday, and Kurt Busch will sit the pole. He clocked a respectable speed of 177.599 mph, but he took the pole without all 12 of the drivers who made it to the third round actually recording a time.

Denny Hamlin spun off in Turn 2 with 39 seconds remaining and when he couldn’t get his car going again, the session was paused. With a lap time greater than the remaining time on the clock, they ended qualifying, giving Busch the pole and forcing five drivers who had waited until the final minute to go out to not post a time.

From Busch in pole, Carl Edwards, Martin Truex Jr., Jeff Gordon, Kevin Harvick and Austin Dillon round out the firs three rows. Edwards is the only one driving a Toyota in that pack. All eyes will be on Gordon, given his historic success at Pocono (six wins, 31 top-10 finishes). Truex Jr. is another name to watch, given that he had 12 finishes in the top 10 this season, but no wins to his name.

Below, we’ve got the full lineup and starting grid for the race:
