NASCAR Bristol 2016: Lineup, starting grid for Food City 500

The 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup season continues its southern swing with the Food City 500 on Sunday from Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee, the eighth of 36 races this season.

Carl Edwards enters the week fourth in points this year thanks to three top-five finishes, but is in search of his first win of the season. He will start out in the pole position thanks to a top speed of 127.997 mph on Friday.

Edwards won the Food City 500 in 2014.

Kyle Busch is looking for his third straight win after victories at the last two stops in Martinsville and Texas. Busch will start in fifth position on Sunday. The two drivers in between them in points - Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick - will start in sixth and seventh position, respectively in Bristol. Both Johnson (2010) and Harvick (2005) have won this race before.

Fox will televise the race from Bristol beginning with pre-race coverage at 12:30 p.m. ET, followed by the race at 1 p.m., with Mike Joy on play-by-play alongside analysts Jeff Gordon and Darrell Waltrip, plus Larry McReynolds, Jamie Little, Vince Welch and Matt Yocum on the coverage as well.
