With All-Star festivities over, NASCAR is back to races that count in the points standings, reaching the unofficial halfway point of the season before The Chase for the Sprint Cup with the 2016 Coca-Cola 600 from Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina.

The longest and most grueling race of the year features 400 laps around the 1.5-mile track, and is the 13th race of the NASCAR regular season, with 26 races before The Chase for the Sprint Cup begins in September.

Jimmie Johnson is a four-time winner of the Coca-Cola 600, one shy of Darrell Waltrip’s race record, with Johnson having lost won in Charlotte in 2014. Johnson enters Sunday fifth in the points race in 2016, though he has finished no better than 17th in any of his last three races.

Johnson’s last top-10 finish was a third-place showing at Richmond on April 24, and his last win was at Fontana on March 20, one of two victories for Johnson in 2016.

FOX has pre-race coverage at 5:30 p.m. ET with Fox NASCAR Sunday, hosted by Chris Myers. Race coverage starts at 6 p.m. with Mike Joy on play-by-play, joined by analysts Darrell Waltrip, Jeff Gordon and Larry McReynolds. The broadcast will also feature reporting by Jamie Little, Vince Welch and Matt Yocum.

The race can be followed online both before and during the action using Fox Sports Go. The race will be rebroadcast on Fox Sports 1 on Monday at 8:30 a.m. and Tuesday at 6 a.m., and will air on Fox Sports 2 on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
