NASCAR at Sonoma Raceway 2016: Lineup, starting grid for Toyota/Save Mart 350

Carl Edwards has the pole position at the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma on Sunday, looking for his third win of the 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup season.

Edwards won the pole position with a top qualifying speed of 95.777 mph on Saturday, looking for his second win in three years at Sonoma. Edwards’ previous victories this season came in back-to-back weeks, at Martinsville and Texas in April.

He currently ranks fourth in points this season, with 11 races to go before The Chase for the Sprint Cup begins.

A.J. Allmendinger, in search of his first victory of the season, starts in second position on Sunday, currently ranking 19th in points. Just behind them Sunday is Kurt Busch, in third position on Sunday and ranking second in points, looking for his second win in his last three races.

Busch won this race in Sonoma in 2011.

Points leader Kevin Harvick has just one victory in 2016 but also sports seven top-5 finishes. He starts in 25th position at Sonoma.

Fox Sports 1 provides the television coverage from Sonoma on Sunday, starting with a pre-race show hosted by Chris Myers at 1:30 p.m. Race coverage begins at 3 p.m., with Mike Joy calling Sunday afternoon’s race alongside analysts Jeff Gordon and Darrell Waltrip, plus Larry McReynolds, Jamie Little, Chris Neville and Matt Yocum on the broadcast.
