2011 NBA Draft Results: Chris Singleton Drafted By Wizards With No. 18 Pick

With the No. 18 pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Washington Wizards selected Florida State wing Chris Singleton.

Singleton is rated as a masterful defender and a solid spot-up shooter. He joins Jan Vesely, picked at No. 6 by the Wizards, in a revamped frontcourt that should give point guard John Wall more weapons on offense. If JaVale McGee remains in D.C., the Wizards could become a very good defensive team going forward, provided that someone teaches McGee how to avoid goaltending calls.
