2011 NBA Draft Results: Cavaliers Pick Up Milan Macvan, Celtics Take E’Twaun Moore In Second Round

The second round of the 2011 NBA Draft moved on without interruption on Thursday night.

The Portland Trail Blazers picked up Ohio State shooter Jon Diebler with the No. 51 pick. To announce it, Adam Silver referenced "the Ohio State University," proving that he is far, far more hip than David Stern, his boss. Reportedly, there was one Diebler fanatic at the Prudential Center who went wild with the pick. That is not made-up.

The Detroit Pistons picked up Florida player Vernon Macklin at No. 52. He becomes the first player picked that I had never heard of.

With the No. 53 pick, the Orlando Magic took DeAndre Liggins from the University of Kentucky. He is the second Wildcat taken in the second round, joining a man known for his penchant to wear jorts.

At No. 54, the Cleveland Cavaliers selected Milan Macvan, a Serbian forward who starred for Maccabi Tel Aviv. Fran Fraschilla said that Macvan is as tough as nails. Chad Ford commented that he is built like a tank. Macvan destroyed the Nike Hoop Summit in 2009.

The Boston Celtics cornered the market on Purdue Boilermakers by taking E'Twaun Moore at No. 55. He joins teammate JaJuan Johnson in Beantown. Brad Miller and Brian Cardinal are pleased.
