Jazz Vs. Magic: Orlando Closes Out Turnover-Laden First Half With 11-2 Run

Not the prettiest first half of action, with 22 turnovers overall, but the Magic rallied late in the second quarter, closing out with a 11-2 run to take a double-digit lead to halftime against the Jazz.

The Jazz are struggling mightily from long range, going 0-for-5 from three and in the first half. The Magic are having issues of their own from the line, where they’ve started 4-for-9 from the stripe.

Dwight Howard and Rashard Lewis are tied for the team lead with eight points at half, but Howard turned the ball over three time. Paul Millsap, the star of the Jazz’s win in Miami on Tuesday night, is tied with Al Jefferson for the team lead with eight points.

The Jazz rallied from behind big in Miami last night. An unimpressive final few minutes of the second quarter might mean they would have to pull off a similar feat to get another road upset in Florida
