Chris Bosh has been the butt of more than a few jokes for his subpar performance so far this season: most notably and recently from The Basketball Jones.
Suns Vs. Heat: Chris Bosh Finally Breaks Out Against Phoenix
But Bosh, who has averaged 14 points per game through the first 10 games of the season, has erupted for 22 in the first half of the Heat’s game against the Suns.
While Phoenix was kept it close through the first quarter, trailing 27-24, Miami took over in the second frame and extended their lead to 20 at half.
Steve Nash, who was almost held out from the game, lead the Suns in scoring with nine points in the first half with nine points. The Suns struggled especially from three-point range, hitting only one of 10 from beyond the arc. Channing Fyre was the owner of that sole successful conversion.
Miami, meanwhile, was 15-for-16 from the free throw line. LeBron James finished the first half with 16 points and Dwyane Wade had 12.
