Celtics Vs. Cavaliers: Cleveland Shooting Goes Cold, Still Down 80-65

The Cavaliers came out of the locker room sluggish, and ended up playing the Celtics' half-court game. As a result, they couldn't get much of anything going on offense, with the exception of Anthony Parker and Mo Williams. The shooting percentage was ugly, hovering around 35 percent.

Rajon Rondo continued to put up points, streaking down the court and getting easy layups. Well, not all easy ones. He also got some contested ones to drop. He picked up his season high with 19 points. He also racked up 8 assists by the quarter's end.

The Cavaliers ended up over the foul limit with seven minutes left to play in the third, sending the Celtics to the line for silly fouls. To be fair, it looked like there were some missed calls on the Celtics, but when the game is going your way, you go with it. Boston already has five players in double digits.

By the end of the quarter, the Cavs were able to pick up the pace and even get some steals and fast breaks. They couldn’t however, capitalize on those plays and remained ice-cold from the floor.

On a lighter note, the crew on NBA TV decided that the Celtics are a team of Rabid Wolf Sausage Makers. Don’t ask.
