LeBron James Would Rather Watch HBO Than The Dallas Cowboys

After Monday's Miami Heat practice, LeBron James was asked about his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys, and he explained that at this point, he can't even watch the games. From ESPN Dallas:

“[It’s] very tough, man. I’ve never had to change channels when my Cowboys played. I was changing between ‘Eastbound and Down’ and my Cowboys, so I knew I was kind of frustrated at that point.”

And for once, we agree. The Cowboys are awful, and completely unwatchable. Sure, the rest of America may say this is another example of Bron’s waning loyalty, or simply a chance to delight at the misery of Cowboys fans like me and LeBron, but that’s okay. I know where you’re coming from, ‘Bron.

I, too, opted for Bored to Death and Eastbound and Down on Sunday night, and it felt great. Like a hostage that’s freed from his captor, running into the arms of a belligerent Kenny Powers. LeBron’s still a Russia loyalist and a completely irredeemable front-runner, but God. Have you seen the Cowboys this year? On this one, for one time only, we can applaud LeBron’s Decision.
