Miami Go On Run To Start The Game, Lead Utah 25-11

The Miami Heat aren’t making all of their shots, but it certainly appears that way when you look at the score. In fact, they are missing and turning the ball over just like a normal team, but they’re playing against a Jazz team who simply can not score.

The Jazz went cold to start the game, hitting just two of their first 18 shots. In fact, this has been their lowest scoring quarter thus far this season. Just Paul Millsap, Andrei Kirilenko and Deron Williams have scored for the Jazz, while all of the Heats’ starters scored.

The story for the Heat, aside from the usual focus on Wade, Bosh and James, would be the solid play of Joel Anthony. He’s had two made shots already, and had taken just 6 prior to this game. Chris Bosh leads Heat with seven points. Their defense has been stifling the Jazz, which will be important when the hot shooting eventually cools off.
