Christmas Day in the NBA is full of players wearing all sorts of wacky-colored shoes. We saw the Bulls and Knicks wear red kicks during their game, and we've seen Paul Pierce don a red headband for the occasion. But it's safe to say that no footwear is going to top Kobe Bryant's green shoes that he'll sport for this afternoon's Lakers-Heat tilt.

It's almost as if Kobe is the Grinch and the Miami Heat are Christmas. Actually, that might not be far off. Kobe won't admit it, but it has to burn him that the Heat got all the attention after the Lakers won their second straight title. Kobe claims he doesn't play this game for attention, but I'm not sure I believe him. Maybe he's doing this because he wants to be the Grinch.
