That flush over Jeff Green was the high point of the Nuggets' strong first quarter, and one suspects that Nene going coast-to-coast and throwing it down might have been a Christmas wish of sorts. But you may also notice that all the Thunder players have on blindingly neon yellow shoes.

Blame Kevin Durant and Nike for that. Durant's debuting the Christmas edition of his new shoe, the Zoom KD3s, and the Thunder are all wearing yellow shoes — some KD3s, some other Nikes — as a show of solidarity. Whether that's a sign of their closeness as a team or the folly of youth (the shoes are really yellow) is for you to decide.
