VIDEO: Ken Mauer Drops Five Techs In 10 Seconds On Complaining Wolves

NBA referee Ken Mauer has heard enough, OK? The typically sober zebra worked lead at Spurs vs. Timberwolves on Tuesday night, and something in Minnesota's cavalcade of complaints got under Mauer's skin. Via Ball Don't Lie, here's video of Mauer unleashing five technical fouls within 10 seconds of game time.

SB Nation blog Canis Hoopus described Mauer's rampage in brief but pointed fashion, and also cast pointed fingers upon Hall of Fame big man Tim Duncan.

From Canis Hoopus:

Tonight, Wolves fans were treated to a barrage of technicals and mind-numbingly atrocious calls from the zebras. Would they have won with better reffing? No, but it was such a blatant part of the game that it turned what should have been entertainment into a tragedy. Watching Richard Jefferson get away with what was called against Luke Ridnour against the Celtics is not fun. Watching Tim Duncan run into Mike Beasley on a three-point shot (spraining his ankle in the process), travel on the very next possession, and then jump up and down like a baby when a call didn't go his way is pathetic. His game is Hall of Fame, but ... well, he was in full clown mode tonight.

Duncan and the Spurs have always been incorrigible complainants. That San Antonio has the fith lowest technical foul total this season is rather shocking.
