You may have been wondering what Rashad McCants has been up to the past few months. Just a month ago, we heard he left the D-League and was all set to become a star acquisition in China. But that deal fell through. So, naturally, McCants saw the opportunity to get a jumpstart on his acting career.
What acting career, you ask?
...This acting career. Here’s McCants starring next to a former child porn star (Traci Lords) as a bisexual leader of a shoplifting ring in the forthcoming series from Rich King Entertainment, Booster Club. CAN YOU SAY LOTTERY PICK???
It’s like Waist Deep mixed with Dead Presidents mixed with Sex and the City. I mean, wow. It’s unclear whether this is a TV show or a movie, but it doesn’t even matter. To paraphrase Chappelle’s Show, “What can be said about this trailer that hasn’t already been said about Afgahnistan?”
Traci Lords looks bombed out. Depleted. As she says, “You know I don’t need those pills anymore!” Anyway, other than Rashad McCants mean-mugging in a wig, this was my favorite part:
Nathaniel Lamar: “You like Jay-Z with 99 problems. That’s what’s up.”
Latanya Holmes: “Yeah and I’m the BITCH that’s gon’ give you the 100th one. THAT’S what’s up. Now you wanna tell me why your stealing women’s clothes?”
Some days you start off by catching up on last night’s games, and some days, you start the day by enjoying Rashad McCants as a bisexual shoplifter. Sports are just full of surprises!
