With Dirk Nowitzski out, the Mavericks needed a big game from Jason Kidd, Shawn Marion and Jason Terry in order to beat the Lakers. And so they got one.
Jason Kidd scored 13 of his season-high 21 points during a game-altering third quarter and dished out 10 assists for Dallas, which hadn’t won since January 4 against Portland.
