Eric Gordon put on a show on Thursday night in Portland, but his game-high 35 points weren’t enough to overcome the hot shooting Trail Blazers. After the Clippers cut the deficit to three with just under five minutes to go, the Blazers took over, finishing the game on a 16-4 run to close-out a 108-93 win.

Blake Griffin played Robin to Gordon’s Batman, finishing with 20 points and 18 rebounds as he registered yet another double-double. The two combined to score 14 of the Clippers 16 points to start the fourth quarter as the Clippers chopped-down a 13-point deficit.
LaMarcus Aldridge, Wesley Matthews and Rudy Fernandez put an end to the run, combining to score the final 16 points of the game for the Blazers. The Clippers fell to 16-26 on the season. The Blazers, plagued by injuries and working with a patchwork lineup, improved to 24-20 and sit just four games back of Oklahoma City in the Northwestern division.
