Mustafa Shakur had an interesting Saturday. The Arizona product was called up from the NBA's D-League and signed to a 10-day contract by the Wizards, then made his NBA debut against the Celtics, then became a subject of a ton of Twitter snark for his amusingly haphazard jersey.
PHOTOS: Mustafa Shakur Wears Terrible Practice Jersey, Helps Wizards Upset Celtics
That picture’s via Outside the NBA, and if it looks like someone took five seconds to sew on the numbers, that’s because it might be close to the truth. SB Nation DC’s Mike Prada tweets that Shakur was wearing a blank jersey with some swift stitching:
Mustafa Shakur wore a practice jersey with an extra 2 stitched onto it: “They tried to put my zip code on it.”
Slight correction: it was a blank jersey that was stitched wrong, not a practice jersey.
Whatever it was, it was funny. Hit the jump for a photo of Shakur’s jersey from both sides.

The best part of all of this, though? Shakur played well despite the sartorial mishap: he had five points, five assists, and two blocks, and the Wizards upset the Celtics, 85-83.
