Why Nobody Respects Chris Bosh And The Miami Heat

The Miami Heat began the year with a stumble, but since then, they’ve charged to one of the best records in the league, and if anyone made the mistake of taking them lightly after November, the Heat have gone a long way toward correcting that ever since. Hate them all you want, but fear them, too.

Even Chris Bosh, who’s slow start inspired some transcendent parodies, has proven he’s an indispensable asset in Miami. Since his recent injury, the Heat haven’t been the same. In other words, even Chris Bosh is better than we gave him credit for in November.

But that doesn’t mean we have to respect him. The greatest video ever is after the jump.

Let’s be clear: Chris Bosh is a very talented basketball player. But basketball player or not, I’m not sure I could respect anyone that willingly participated and filmed a photo shoot like this one for Maxim. Maybe I’m just a “hater”, sure. Okay. And here’s Chris Bosh playfully splashing around in what’s not exactly a pool, but appears to be a large puddle created for photo shoots:

And here’s Bosh posing and playing with his sunglasses:

Watch it over and over again, because whether it’s LeBron’s Birthday Party, Dwyane Wade in whiteface, or this super sweet photo shoot, the Miami Heat never stop being unintentionally hilarious. So, I’m telling you, savor this video. And when Bosh is getting abused by someone like Kevin Garnett come playoff time, don’t forget this video. It says more than you think.
