Tracy Morgan caused a little bit of controversy on TNT’s NBA pregame show last night. It all started with a simple argument between Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith. Sarah Palin, or her doppelganger, Tina Fey?

Given his proximity to Tina Fey on 30 Rock, Tracy Morgan was probably the most definitive resource Barkley and Kenny could have found to settle it. But let me tell you something about Tracy Morgan... DO NOT PUT HIM ON LIVE TELEVISION. EVER:
“...The glasses and all that?” Um... So... Hey! It’s a good thing his boss isn’t famous for looking exactly like Sarah Palin, because that would be pretty awkward, huh?
Kenny said later in the night on Inside the NBA, “It’s cool Tracy, my kids weren’t watching.” TNT was less amused, though. As their official statement read: “It’s unfortunate Mr. Morgan showed a lack of judgment on our air with his inappropriate comments. We apologize for any embarrassment or offense it may have caused.”
But I say it was even crazier when Tracy Morgan lobbied for Landry Fields to make the All-Star game just before his comments. And either way, this just enhances the Tracy Morgan legend. I mean, what did TNT expect?
