It all happened as reporters staked out the sidewalk outside the NBA lockout meetings, where tensions were high! Next thing you know, we’re watching every stupid standoff you’ve ever seen outside a bar, condensed into one clumsy 60 second sequence. Imagined dialogue:
“Put your Dukes up!”
“No you put YOUR Dukes up!”
“Gimme your best shot!”
“Bring it on!”
“You want some of this?”“You ready?”
“I was BORN ready, Cowboy.”
[they lunge toward each other, exchange flailing slaps]
And then, actual dialogue at the end:
“Guys. GUYS. Somebody called the cops.”
[both men lower said dukes, sheepishly avoid eye contact]
IMPORTANT: Lockout or no lockout, America needs more awkward white guy fights.
