‘Homecoming Tour’ To Star LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul And Carmelo Anthony

LeBron James, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony will star in a four-game “Homecoming Tour” in early December, with stops in Akron, New Orleans, Chicago and the New York City metro area.

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony will star in a four-city Homecoming Tour touching down in towns familiar to the All-Stars, reports the Associated Press. The first game will be held in James' hometown of Akron, Ohio, on December 1. That exhibition will be followed by games in New Orleans (where Paul stars) on December 4, Chicago (Wade's hometown) on December 7 and East Rutherford, N.J., right across the river from Anthony's new city of New York, on December 10.

The AP reports that Google Plus, which is sponsoring the tour, will stream all four games live, and that all four stars will play in each game, with other NBA players (including Chris Bosh) weaving in and out of the lineups. In addition to the games, each star will be hosting educational and charity events in their "hometown" on days adjacent to that city's game.

Player-organized exhibitions have had mixed results during the NBA lockout, but every game featuring LeBron has been packed to the gills.
