Spurs GM RC Buford Arrested For DWI, According To Report
Details are still scarce, but it sounds like it may have been a single-vehicle accident with no injuries. Buford posted bond Saturday morning and was released.
It’s not yet known where Buford was coming from, but several hours before KSAT broke the news of his arrest, at least one Twitter user reported seeing Buford at Ringside SA, a charity function held in downtown San Antonio:
Buford has been a member of the Spurs organization since 1988, initially serving as an assistant on Larry Brown's staff before eventually moving into the front office. He's served as general manager since 2002 and is widely regarded as one of the NBA's top front-office executives.
