Monday’s NBA Schedule: 12-Game Slate Gets Rest Of The League In Action

Ten teams tipped off the 2011-12 NBA season on Sunday, and now it’s everyone else’s turn. The NBA schedule on Monday features 12 games, with two of them landing on NBA TV and the rest available on League Pass or via local broadcasts. The full schedule with TV information is below the jump.

Here are the games on national TV.

Houston Rockets at Orlando Magic, 7 p.m. ET, NBA TV

The Rockets begin their season on the road against the Magic, who opened the season Sunday night with a stiff loss in Oklahoma City. Yep, that means that this is the first of myriad games in this condensed, breakneck season in which the visiting team will have gotten to town before the home team does. Dwight Howard had a bad night on offense on Sunday, shooting just 4-12 from the field for 11 points. The Magic need more to be competitive.

L.A. Lakers at Sacramento, 10 p.m. ET, NBA TV

The Lakers lost in Game 1, too, falling victim to Derrick Rose and a Chicago Bulls comeback. They'll visit the Sacramento Kings, where fans thought the last time the Lakers visited -- the final game of the 2010-11 season -- was the city's last evening with NBA basketball. Divine providence reigned, and the Kings are back. Fans will be thirsty for a chance to watch the Lakers fall to 0-2 to open the season.

And here’s the rest of the slate, available on League Pass and local broadcasts.
