Why Are You Booing Kris Humphries?
Hump got booed at Madison Square Garden during his only preseason game last week, and then again Monday night at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., as the New Jersey Nets visited (and beat) the Wizards. You would have thought LeBron James was on the court, not a janitorial power forward from Minnesota who just happened to marry Kim Kardashian, star in a reality show and get divorced from Kim Kardashian over the course of the lockout.
While Humphries hasn’t seem to get rattled -- he had a great game Monday -- Nets coach Avery Johnson seems bothered by the boos. From the New York Daily News’ Stefan Bondy (via NetsDaily):
“I don’t know why. I’m trying to figure out, what did he do?” Johnson said. “I’m serious. Maybe because I don’t follow reality TV, I don’t know all the ins and outs of it but it’s pretty hilarious to me. I don’t know if they even know why they’re booing him.”
“Hey, I know that guy. Isn’t he that corncob that married that Kim Kardashian broad? I’ve heard of him. What a jerk! BOOOOOOOOO!”
This is stupid. Unless we’re booing him because he shaved his brother-in-law’s armpits that one time, in which chase, BOOOOOOOO! indeed.
