TNT has its first weekday double-header on Tuesday, which means that we'll get a full dose of the Turner crew with new addition Shaq. His most recent squad (the Boston Celtics) are matching up against a team (the Miami Heat) filled former teammates (LeBron James and Dwyane Wade) and an old punching bag (Chris Bosh, who Shaq once called the "RuPaul of big men"), so there will no doubt be some opportunity for humor-inflected insight.
Tuesday’s NBA Schedule: Two TV Games, Highlighted By Celtics-Heat
Or, he could just make fun of Charles Barkley’s sartorial choices. Both are fine with me.
Today’s full NBA schedule with TV info and game times can be found below the jump.
Boston Celtics (0-1) at Miami Heat (1-0), 8 p.m. ET, TNT
The Heat blasted the Celtics out of the playoffs in the second round last season, though Rajon Rondo was playing with a bad elbow for the back half of that series. The C's come in after a tight loss in Sunday's opener against the Knicks; the Heat opened the season by throtlling the Mavericks.
Utah Jazz (0-0) at L.A. Lakers (0-2), 10:30 p.m. ET, TNT
The second game of the double-header would normally be seen as a sure Lakers win. But L.A. has lost back-to-back games against the Bulls and Kings, and have to be flagging. The Jazz haven't yet played a regular season game. That should even the playing field just a bit.
Here’s the rest of the slate, available on League Pass and through local broadcasts.
Atlanta Hawks at New Jersey Nets, 7:30 p.m. ET
Minnesota Timberwolves at Milwaukee Bucks, 8:30 p.m. ET
Sacramento Kings at Portland Trail Blazers, 10 p.m. ET
