Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade is out of the game after injuring his left foot late in the first half of Wednesday night's matchup with the Charlotte Bobcats. Wade left the game with about a minute to go in the second quarter and did not come out to start the second half after suffering an apparent injury to his foot. Right now, the extent of the injury is unknown, as is how it occurred.

Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade left Wednesday’s matchup with the Charlotte Bobcats after injuring his foot.


Update: He’s back in the game.
Wade had a quiet first half before the injury, scoring just four points in 17 minutes on 2-of-8 shooting. Wade also recorded one assist and two fouls in the half. Through six minutes of play in the third quarter, he has yet to return to the floor.
As it stands now, the Bobcats lead the Heat, 66-59 with just about 18 minutes to play. LeBron James has 19 points to lead the Heat, with Chris Bosh adding 16 and Mario Chalmers with 13.
