Dwyane Wade hit a game-winner off of the glass with three seconds left to give the Miami Heat a 96-95 win on the road against the Charlotte Bobcats. The Heat move to 3-0. It didn't look good early, as Charlotte opened up the game on an 11-0 run and led 60-45 at the half. But Miami stormed back in the third, winning that quarter 24-10, and edged the pesky Bobcats (1-1) in the fourth.

Dwyane Wade hit a tough game-winner to give the Miami Heat a road win over the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday.
Bobcats two-guard Gerald Henderson actually defended Wade quite well on the winning bucket, as Miami ran an isolation play for Wade from the left elbow with LeBron James stashed in the near corner. But Wade's leaning kiss off the glass went down.
Wade had a struggle of a game up to that point, finishing with 10 points on 5-13 shooting with just one rebound. Charlotte, which happens to be the thinnest team in the league at center, thoroughly outrebounded the defending East champs, winning 15 of 40 offensive rebound opportunities (37.5 percent) while holding Miami to five of 43 opps (11.6 percent).
LeBron James led the Heat with 35 points on 13-23 shooting with seven assists and six rebounds. He had 12 points and three steals in that critical third quarter.
Charlotte got a fantastic performance from Henderson, who in addition to his strong defense on Wade offered up 21 points on 10-19 shooting with four assists, four rebounds, two steals and two blocks. Rookie Kemba Walker was solid off the bench with 14 points on 6-9 shooting.
Charlotte's frontline -- D.J. White and Boris Diaw -- deserve a good deal of credit for crushing Miami on the board. Boris Diaw had 16 rebounds (and eight assists, oddly enough) and D.J. White won four offensive rebounds for 11 total, and also had three blocks.
