Under no circumstances should the Oklahoma City Thunder have beaten the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday. In the early game of TNT's doubleheader, Oklahoma City registered 26 turnovers to just 12 for Dallas and the Thunder had just six offensive rebounds compared to 14 for the Mavs. As a result of those two factors, the Mavericks had about 100 shot attempts (FGAs and trips to the line for two shots), while the Thunder registered about 80.

Kevin Durant led the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 104-102 win over the Dallas Mavericks, capping it off with a wild game-winner.
And the Thunder still won.
Oklahoma City shot a sizzling 58.7 percent from the field and edged the Mavericks 104-102 on a killer game-winning three by Kevin Durant. Durant led everyone with 30 points on 10-16 shooting, 11 rebounds, six assists, two blocks and, yes, six of those turnovers. Russell Westbrook played just 31 minutes as he struggled from the floor (6-15 shooting, seven turnovers); everyone in an OKC jersey other than Russ shot better than 50 percent. Serge Ibaka had what the Thunder hope is a breakout game with 16 points on 6-9 shooting, eight rebounds, three blocks and one turnover.
Dirk Nowitzki nearly got Dallas its first win of the season, having a very Dirk game with 29 points on 9-17 shooting with 10 rebounds. Delonte West was quite good as the starting two-guard, with 15 points on 5-10 shooting and six assists. Though Vince Carter hit a go-ahead jumper late, West looks like the better bet in the starting lineup at this point.
Oklahoma City just went unbeaten through four games in five days, three of which came against 2011 playoff teams. This team is no joke.
