Landry Fields, rookie on the New York Knicks, posed as Modell's Employee of the Month Leeroy Jenkins and tried to sell Knicks merchandise, specifically his own No. 6 jersey. Perhaps it was just editing, or maybe he was too annoying, but it didn't look much like anyone was buying what Fields was selling:
VIDEO: Landry Fields, The World’s Goaltendingest Jersey Salesman
Fields heckled Modell's customers when they passed by the Knicks section, and got some comical responses, such as "Yeah, not a basketball fan" and "I don't do Knicks." Apparently not everybody does Knicks.
He also put up a suction cup basketball hoop and challenged willing customers to one-on-one. The video never mentions whether Fields has any success as a retail salesman, but based on how hard he was slacking at work, I'd say he should probably stick to basketball.
Still, he’s probably got a brighter future in retail than Danny Woodhead does.
