Austin Carr Sings “Hit The Road, Jack” To Honor Cavaliers’ Losing Streak-Snapping Win

After losing a billion 26 games in a row, the Cavaliers got their first win of 2011 last night against the Clippers. Much merriment was had in Cleveland, surely, but one thing that might not have been so necessary? Cavs announcer Austin Carr breaking out his less-than-stellar pipes to celebrate.

↵On second thought, could the Cavs have kept losing? If someone from the future had showed Carr’s “Hit The Road, Jack” to them, a la the NBA’s current slate of time-travelers-visit-stars commercials, do you think they would have? If someone had told Ray Charles that Austin Carr would eventually murder the “What you say?” in the song on live television, would Austin Carr be breathing today?
