The Los Angeles Lakers came into tonight’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers having suffered an embarrassing loss to the Charlotte Bobcats. Nothing makes it all better like a trip to play the NBA’s poorest team, right? The Cavs have had other plans, working out a 51-46 halftime lead at Quicken Loans Arena.
Lakers Vs. Cavs Score: Cavaliers Taking Advantage Of Kobe Bryant’s Struggles
Kobe Bryant has only six points on eight shots, still not 100 percent after battling through L.A.’s last game with an illness. Pau Gasol is doing all he can to make up for the general lack of offense, pouring in 20 points and 12 rebounds already. No other Lakers player has more than six points or boards.
Ramon Sessions and Antawn Jamison lead Cleveland with 16 and 13 respectively, and Jamison has grabbed nine rebounds of his own.
Eleven Lakers turnovers have led to 15 Cavs fast break points.
