↵All that’s gold glitters in L.A., and adidas and the NBA went full-on shine for the official 2011 All-Star warm-ups. The East is wearing black warm-ups with blue shimmery stripes, while the West gets the gold. Kobe is totally on board.

And thus invokes another in a series of absurd fashion statements at All-Star 2011. Plaid socks for rookies, tight jerseys for All-Stars and track suits straight out of Kath & Kim. Beautiful work, three-stripe bros. (The unfortunate thing is that adidas couldn't get coaches Doc Rivers and Gregg Popovich into the blinding glitter. Pop in a shiny track suit might end Twitter once and for all.)
