The Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant has fought off rumors of his coming senior citizen status all season as critics reference his increasingly "old man" game. Haters stand down, because during the first quarter of the 2011 NBA All-Star Game Kobe dug into his youth to shred the Bulls' Derrick Rose, one of the league's young risers, on a baseline two-handed reverse dunk.

Kobe had a game-high 21 points and six rebounds in the first half. He's won three prior All-Star Game MVP awards; Bob Petit has the record with four. The first half of the 2011 All-Star Game didn't disappoint in terms of dunks, as Kobe had a second hard dunk, and Rose, Blake Griffin, Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh and Kevin Durant all had impressive throwdowns. While Rihanna and Kanye West's halftime show without question will carry the buzz for this game (sorry, Drake), nobody's mad at Kobe's throwback performance.
