Carmelo Anthony And LaLa Vasquez Make Plans For A VH1 Reality Show
Why did Carmelo Anthony want to go to the New York Knicks so badly? Maybe we'll never know. Or maybe he can just tell us himself, when he looks deep into the camera, furrows his brow, and gives us an answer on his new VH1 Reality Show with his wife, Lala Vasquez.
And... Of course! Maybe it’s not the only reason he wanted out of Denver, but we knew Carmelo wanted to play in a bigger media market so that his wife’s media career could grow. And that’s right, within 72 hours of becoming a Knick, they’ve already landed themselves a reality show. VH1’s actually been filming for a month now.
The 30-minute “docuseries,” which began filming in January, will pick up where the couple’s wedding special, “La La’s Full Court Wedding,” left off. It will follow Anthony and Vazquez as they prepare for their move to New York City following his trade to the Knicks on Monday.
And that, my friends, is why Carmelo Anthony wanted to go to New York City all along. Err... Actually, that’s why La La Vasquez wanted Carmelo Anthony to go to New York City. My question is, if they ever get divorced, will VH1 just merge La La’s show with Basketball Wives?
