Despite a late surge by the Orlando Magic in the fourth quarter, LeBron James and his Miami Heat led wire to wire and beat them 104-100.
LeBron James And Miami Hold Off Orlando’s Late Run To Win 104-100
LeBron James had a ridiculous night, going 17-25 from the field (3-5 from three and 14-17 from the line) for 51 points. He also pulled in 11 rebounds and dished out nine assists. Dwaye Wade, despite taking a nasty fall early in the third, was able to return to the game and finish with 13 points, the last of which came from a free throw to ice the game. The team as a whole shot 50%, and LeBron shot an insane 68%.
The Magic were able to really make it a game, getting to within three points with mere seconds left on the clock but they missed their three-point shot to tie. Six players scored in double digits, with Jameer Nelson leading the way with 22. Somewhere along the way, Orlando found their three point shot, with Jason Richardson and Ryan Anderson contributing four and three respectively.
Both teams pulled in 44 rebounds and committed 10 turnovers.
